About  Us - Pepe Rodríguez-Pérez, PhD

Dr. Pepe Rodríguez-Pérez is a business excellence consultant and CAPA coach for FDA regulated industries. His more than 20 years of expertise include academy (Director of Microbiology Dept at the San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Caguas, PR), manufacturing (Technical Services Manager of Abbott Laboratories, Diagnostics Division, Barceloneta) and, consulting in the medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech and food industries.

He is a senior member and the past Chair of the Puerto Rico Section of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and currently he is the Section’s secretary. He is certified as Quality Manager, Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, Quality HACCP Auditor, Six Sigma Black Belt, Biomedical Auditor and Pharmaceutical GMP Professional by ASQ.

He is a professor in the Polytechnic University of PR (Master Degree Program) where he is responsible for the following courses: “Measuring Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty”, “Quality Foundations”, “Quality Audit Program” and, “Assessment Tools to Improve Business Performance”.

Since 2009 he is a Science Advisor of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

His list of clients is long and it includes all major  FDA regulated firms, in Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, USA, Costa Rica and Spain. CAPA related work represent 70% of our activities for the past five years.
